Children Orchestra from Russian Ivanovo in the City Hall

Yesterday the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Čedomir Janjić, gave the reception to the members and management of Children Orchestra "Radonjica" from the city of Ivanovo in the Russian Federation. A day before they had had a concert  at the National Theatre "Toša Jovanović" wonderfully presenting the programme of the Russian and Serbian  folk songs as well as Greek and Spanish music. At the reception Ivan Dević and David Dimkić were  present too, as well as the  member of the City Assembly Ljubomir Putić, who was the guests' host.
 
 
The  Orchestra conductor, Olga Skrjabina, thanked to the Mayor and the City saying that they Liked Zrenjanin very much, particularly  the old architecture  and kind  friendly people and that they would  take the best impressions. Also she introduced the members of Orchestra and gave the basic information about their city Ivanovo, located about 250 km from Moscow /populaiton about  400 000 /.
 
 
On behalf of children,  the members of the Orchestra Marija Maša Kuzmina spoke saying that the orchestra means much to the children, particularly travels, and that she was delighted with local  food. 
 
              
 
The Mayor, welcoming the guests, pointed out that the friendship between Russian and Serbian people is traditional and that it is always   his pleasure to welcome the artists from Russia. He reminded  that Zrenjanin has twinning cities of Uhta and Noginsk, which does not mean that  the City  cannot start such  a cooperation with other cities.
 
 
"Radonjica"  Orchestra is in Serbia for the third time, first visit was in 2008,t hen in 2011. The visits are organised through the Society of Serbian/Russian Friendship "Vladimir Putin" from  Šabac, and apart from Zrenjanin, the gursts from Ivanovo will have  performances in Vrbas, Šabac and Loznica.
